Project Positioning & Design Highlights
The observation tower is strategically located in a core tourism area of Kunming, with unobstructed views of the city’s iconic landscapes, including the distant Dianchi Lake, lush Western Hills, and the urban skyline dotted with spring flowers. Adopting a modern and minimalist architectural style, the tower features a glass observation deck as its core component—crafted with high-strength, anti-slip laminated glass that ensures safety while providing a “transparent skywalk” experience. Visitors can stand 80 meters above the ground, feeling as if they are walking among the clouds, and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Kunming’s year-round spring scenery.
To enrich the visitor experience, the project also integrates a glass water slide (a signature facility of Zhongzheng Group) connecting the observation deck to the ground. This slide combines thrills with scenery: as visitors glide down at a moderate speed, they can take in the surrounding greenery and floral views, making it suitable for both adventure seekers and family travelers. Additionally, the tower’s base is equipped with a tourism service center, featuring local cultural exhibition areas and souvenir shops, to provide a one-stop experience for visitors.
